And Then There Were Two...

Monday, October 14, 2013

I am the fourth child of the nine kids my parents had. Believe it or not, they wanted 12 when they got married! Now there are only 2 left at home - soon they'll be empty nesters. With half of the siblings in another state, we couldn't all get together for a family photo, so we just decided to do one with the last two children.  Hunter will be going off to college in a few months and Madison has a couple years left at home! Soon it will only be my parents, but luckily a few of the kids have started to raise families around Rochester and there are already grandkids running all over the place - and I know my parents love it!

Luckily my family is pretty well known in our small town (Bloomfield) and we were able to ask a friend if we could take photos in this gorgeous spot in their front yard - so much beautiful fall color!

Baby Jackson

Thursday, October 10, 2013

This little guy was older than the newborns I typically have sessions with, but younger than a 3-Month Old session too - around 7 weeks old.  We were still able to get him to sleep for some shots but he held out for so long! He was so adorable with his piercing blue eyes and a fuzzy bald head.  And he was so strong! He lifted his little head so high and made the funniest faces - I love this age because they just crack you up with the funny expressions and tiny dinosaur noises they make!

A Foggy Morning at Schoen Place

Tuesday, October 8, 2013

After having to reschedule a few times with this adorable family, we finally were able to meet at Schoen Place on an early Saturday morning - only to find ourselves surrounded by a lot of fog.  The fog ended up adding such a gorgeous softness to the photos that I absolutely love.  I have had the opportunity to work with this great family a few different times and I love how they plan out adorable outfits and props that add so much to the images! We had so much fun feeding the ducks and walking along the paths of Schoen Place!
